Offspring - Detroit concert

Offspring return with their new album Days Go By today.  Tonight the band is throwing a record release party in Huntington Beach, California at Chronic Tacos.  The party features an amateur competitive eating contest, and the band has revealed that eating champ Takeru Kobayashi will be in attendance tonight.

Fans of Offspring will not want to miss this - 89X brings Offspring to the Fillmore Detroit on August 31st.  Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am, and the internet pre-sale is going on now.

The White Stripes - Rarity

A limited edition White Stripes 7'' single is being auctioned off on Ebay and comes along with a letter of authenticity signed by Jack White on Third Man Records' letterhead.  Read more about the collectible here.

Stone Temple Pilots

Today the Stone Temple Pilots released their first ever live concert film, Alive In The Windy City.  The show was filmed at the Riviera Theater in Chicago in March of 2010, just months before the release of their self titled album.  Alive In The Windy City is available on DVD and Blu-Ray

In more STP news, the band was just announced as the main headliner for the Motors & Music Experience taking place August 18th in the Pontiac Silverdome parking lot.  Ice-T, Chiodos, Shiny Toy Guns, Mayer Hawthorne, and Howling Diablos are a few of the other bands who are scheduled to perform at the daylong event.  Tickets go on sale this Friday.  For more info on the event, visit the official Motors & Music website.

Green Day - Uno/Dos/Tre

Green Day return this fall with their trilogy ¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tre!  Today Green Day posted the tracklisting for the first album in the trilogy, ¡Uno!, which features 12 tracks, including the album's first single, "Oh Love."  Watch the official trailer for ¡Uno! below, take a look at the full tracklisting, and pre-order ¡Uno! from Amazon.
